Ravelry Weekend 2010
Following on from the success of the first UK Ravelry day which was held in June 2009 in Coventry, England, we will be hosting a bigger event next year. It will immediately follow UK Knit Camp and will include:
RAVELRY *
A marketplace full of yarn and yarncraft-
Guinness World Record attempt
Classes (with most Knit Camp tutors and others too)
Lots of sheep and a few alpacas too
Talks
Luminary Panel
Fashion shows
Demonstrations
Knitting, crochet and spinning surgery
Launch of new products
Ravelry Party (Saturday evening) at the Students’ Union
A schedule of events and classes will be made available in the next few weeks, with ticket sales opening on 1st April 2010 at 8.00pm GMT.
