UK Knit Camp & UK Ravelry Weekend 2010
Terms and Conditions
‘We’ and ‘us’ refers to Events by British Yarn Limited (of 14a Earlsdon Steet, Coventry, CV5 6EG, England). ‘You’ and ‘guests’ refers to any customers. The ‘Event(s)’ refers to UK Knit Camp and/or UK Ravelry Weekend 2010.
1. The vast majority of accommodation packages we are offering are for six nights,
to cover the period Monday 9th August 2010 -
2. Accommodation packages have been available to purchase from 8.00pm GMT on 1st October 2009.
3. Only single rooms and a limited number of double rooms are available. You can find details of the rooms on our website.
4. You must supply a name, address and telephone number for each separate person booking accommodation, taking a class or taking part in any other events organised by us. Failure to do so before the start of the events will make said booking null and void.
5. We do not guarantee that you will be able to book on to any event -
6. The first £50 of each booking is classed as a deposit and is non-
7. If you wish to cancel any part of your booking at any time, you will be refunded on the following scale:
Notification of cancellation (by e-
on or before 1st December 2009: 90% (excluding deposit)
on or before 1st February 2010: 80% (excluding deposit)
on or before 1st April 2010: 65% (excluding deposit)
on or before 1st May 2010: 50% (excluding deposit)
on or before 1st June 2010: 40% (excluding deposit)
on or before 1st July 2010: 30% (excluding deposit)
on or before 14th July 2010: 20% (excluding deposit)
on or before 1st August 2010: 10% (excluding deposit)
7.1. No refunds will be available after 2nd August 2010 unless there are extreme circumstances out of your control namely being serious illness of yourself or close family member, death of close family member, Acts of God which prevent you attending.
7.2. If for any unforseen circumstances we have to cancel the event(s) or any part
of the event(s) including specific classes and you have already paid to participate,

8. Your booking does not guarantee your participation in any of the Knit Camp classes and it is your responsibility to book your attendance at classes separately. Knit Camp classes are charged separately from this booking and are therefore to be deemed a separate transaction.
9. Your booking does not guarantee your participation in UK Ravelry weekend 2010, nor any of the events taking place during that event.
10. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at UK Knit Camp or UK Ravelry Weekend without giving any reason or justification of our decision.
11. All transactions are to be paid immediately through Google Checkout to guarantee we receive your booking. We do not accept payment by any other method (so please do not ask).

13. Please make sure you are able to arrive at the University between 1.00pm and
5.30pm. You will need to come to the Reception of Andrew Stewart Hall to pick up
your Welcome Pack, which will include details of your accommodation, a brochure of
the events. You will also be able to pick up your class schedule and passes, and
any Ravelry Weekend-

14. If you are staying off campus, distribution of passes will take place on Tuesday morning between 7.00am and 9.00am. If you are not able to register during this time, then you should attend the Knit Camp office (which will be in the Cottrell Building and will be clearly marked).
