The classes schedule

A three hour class is shown in blue, a 6 hour class in green, with the only exception being machine knitting classes which will be run differently.

Class levels range from Beginner (B+) to Advanced ( A).  To gauge your approximate level, please use the descriptions here as a rough guide:

Beginner   You’re a complete newbie!  Please note this is craft specific; you may be a great knitter but if you’ve never spun before and are taking a spinning class, you’re a beginner for that class.  You’ve never, ever, tackled anything like this before (or it has been a really long time since you have).

Advanced beginner  You know how to do the basics.  In knitting, this is knitting and purling, increasing and decreasing, picking up stitches, casting on and off, and knitting in the round.  You’ve probably also completed a project or two too and are comfortable following written knitting instructions.  You are ready for the next challenge; learning new techniques. Bring it on!

Intermediate   You are comfortable following most patterns and need some guidance on the more complex techniques. To take these classes, you should already be comfortable with most aspects of knitting, including some  cables, lace, colourwork and shaping.

Advanced  You really know your stuff and have done for ages.  You want to do a bit more, learn a few new things .  These classes will help you explore technical, theoretical, creative aspects of your craft.
